ATC's for MidWest Stampers

I have joined the MWS stampers Yahoo group ATC swaps. For August we had to do dry embossing of some sort. Here was my swap ATC. All images are from Sweet Impressions I stamped them with white Memories ink on heavyweight vellum. Then I dry embossed them on the backside of the vellum. Using a 2 needle piercing tool, I cut out around the frame, the leaves and the flowers. I colored them also from the back with my Copics and then attached them to the frame. I used a Swiss dots Cuttlebug embossing folder for the green panel. Pretty nice, I think.

For September we had to use brads or eyelets. I chose to create this little floral scene. First I stamped the grass from Stampscapes Then I airbrushed the green grass and the blue sky. Next I stamped the leaves and the flowers from Hero Arts. Added some butterflies from See-D's, the birds in the distance from Stampscapes and then the 3 brads (origin unknown) For a little extra bling, I added some color with my Spica pens, on the other flowers and the butterflies. The last step was to use a silver leafing pen around the border as a finishing touch. I think it turned out pretty cute.

Both your cards turned out nice. The brads was a nice touch of something different.
