CASE of Kevin's Autumn Shimmer

I have always wanted to try to CASE Kevin from Stampscapes' Autumn Shimmer. You can see Kevin's original in his gallery. So this is what I came up with. It is a little crowded with birds since I moved the scene while coloring and rolled a stamp across it leaving wonderful black ink marks. This is all Copics, the sky and water were airbrushed. It was a fairly simple scene to put together, thankfully Kevin did all the design work. I used Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Curious Cryogen white paper. When I airbrushed the sky, I used a light blue, then put down a circle mask punched from Eclipse tape and airbrushed a darker blue over it. It gave the hint of a sun in the sky. I got a little too symmetrical with the trees in the foreground on the left, should have staggered them more. They look like soldiers in a row but all in all, I am very pleased with the scene. The finished size is 8 1/2 by 11 inches.
