Brayered Dancin' by the light of the Moon

This happy guy is from Cherry Pie stamps, so are the hands reaching for the moon. The bats are from Repeat Impressions, the trees are from Stamp-A-Mania and the branches are Stampscapes. The grass stamp is from Sutter.

Once again, using matte card stock, I started by stamping the dancing skeleton and the hands with VersaColor black ink, clear embossing them both. Then I took a VersaMark pen, colored inside the lines with it and again embossed each of them with clear, now they will resist the brayered ink.

I masked a horizon line and started with the sky. I used Adirondack Lights Peach Bellini as a base. I then added my moon mask and added more Peach Bellini. Next was to add Lights Salmon, blending but not coming all the way down to the horizon. The last color was Adirondack Brights Mountain Rose starting at the top and blending down into the other two colors.

Now I turned my horizon mask around and began with Adirondack Lights Sea Grass as a base. Next came Adirondack Earthtones Meadow followed by Bottle at the bottom of the scene. The trees and grass were stamped with Earthtones Espresso. I used Archival Jet Black for the framing branches and the bats. The last step was to airbrush Copic R89 Dark Red around the entire scene.
