I played with two things today that I have not used in quite sometime, Marvy Markers and shrink plastic. I began by using Marvy Markers direct to rubber to color my Autumn Foliage stamp from Repeat Impressions. After I had it colored the way I wanted, I misted it with a glimmer spray and then stamped it on Curious Cryogen White paper. I wish the scan would show all the shimmer and glimmer in the ink, it is really pretty. Using my Copics, I added some color to the ferns and the pine cone and then airbrushed a warm beige over it all. (My monitor is displaying the red on the stamped leaves and the gems as pinkish, there is NO pink on this card, lol)
Next, I stamped the oak leaf silhouette and maple leaf silhouette onto a sheet of shrink plastic. I cut the images out and then using a stipple brush and fall colors I added ink to each of the leaves. Using my heat gun, I shrank them down to the size you see here. I took a Copic multiliner and added some veins on the leaves and glued them onto the orange panel. Again using my Copic multiliner, I added the faux piercings. A few more embellishments and it came together nicely.
Repeat Impressions stamps used:
6002-M Foliage Positive
5127-K Maple Leaf Sil.
5110-I Oak Leaf Sil.
