Winter Snow scene

We have a challenge on my Stampscapes II Yahoo group to CASE a scene that Kevin Nakagawa from Stampscapes created. I chose one of Kevin's beautiful snow scenes.
The finished size is 10.5 x 5.5 inches. I stamped it on Curious Cryogen White paper from CutCardStock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Once I had it stamped out, I began to airbrush. I used all blues in this order, B01 Mint Blue, B04 Tahitian Blue, B06 Peacock Blue, B39 Prussian Blue and BV29 Slate. Kevin's is darker around the edges because he finished his with black. I don't have black in a Sketch marker so I am unable to airbrush with it. But I do plan on picking one up. Next I added the brush in the foreground, I stamped it with black, then again with the new Adirondack Snow Cap pigment ink. I found out that the pigment ink tends to dissolve the Copic ink, it muddied up the stamp and hence the ink pad. But I heat set everything and then stamped again and it seemed to be better. And the last step was the white dots for snowfall. I watched Kevin quite a bit in Chicago as he applied these dreaded dots and I feel I have improved immensely. I am very pleased with this scene and thank Kevin for his wonderful inspiration.

Fantastic scene---you need a black sketch - it is the best and blackest black marker ever.
