I have had so much fun using the embossing resist technique with my brayer, I decided to try a Stampscapes scene. I began by stamping the huts with Versacolor black ink and clear embossing. I then colored the huts and the sand with my Copic markers. Using a Versamark Pen, I clear embossed the huts again. I use Xerox Matte Cover (80lb 94 Brightness) paper that I purchased at an office supply shop.
Applying a mask for the moon and for the horizon line, I started brayering the sky with Adirondack Lights Tropical Raspberry, then Brights Bikini Pink, ending with Earthtones Stream.
Reversing my horizon mask and adding a moon mask to the bottom portion, I began brayering the water with Lights Ocean Aqua followed by Earthtones Stream. I added the water pattern with Stream and added a bit to the moon in the sky with Bikini Pink.
I used Marvy Black to add the palm fronds around the edges, stamped the boater and the birds and then added a few stars to the sky with a white glaze pen. Pink is one of my least favorite colors but I think this sky is quite striking. All stamps are from Stampscapes.

Sandy, this is really beautiful. Your brayering is so smooth. I always get lines, do you have any tips for getting it so well blended and smooth? :)
This scene is stunning Sandy, I love your sky it's awesome.
I'm still not having much luck with my brayering. it's not nice & smooth like yours is.
I'm going to have to come for 1 on 1 lessons.
