Copic Airbrushed deer

I picked up some felt deer cutouts at Hobby Lobby today and thought they might make a good mask for airbrushing.

I used some ATG tape to adhere the deer to my Curious Cryogen white paper from Cutcardstock.com. Then using B26 Cobalt Blue I airbrushed around the edges and in the openings of the deer. I used B29 Ultramarine next to deepen the blue. Lastly I added some R59 Cardinal here and there and then removed the felt.

To frame the edges, I used Versamark and silver embossing powder with the Stampscapes pine stamp. Next I added a couple of snowflake embellishments (also from Hobby Lobby) and that was it.

I like the end result, the airbrush spit a little here and there but I still like how it looks, kind of classy.

I love the soft edging you got by using the felt mask. Gives it such a soft and warm look.
