Bedtime Riley sketch challenge

Riley from Hanna Stamps is ready for bed. Isn't he cute? I made this card for the HSC54 sketch challenge on SplitCoastStampers.

I stamped Riley with Memento black ink on Cryogen paper and die cut him out with my circle Spellbinders Circle Nestie. Before removing him from the die, I airbrushed with my YR12 Copic around the edges. I love the nice clean line you get when you remove the die.

To color Riley, I used these Copic markers
Face - E33, E37, R81 in ears
Antlers and Hooves - E43
Pajamas - B00
Bear - E33, R22 for the nose
Slippers - RV00, R81

I wanted all the metal embellishments to match so I airbrushed them with E59 to give them that antique brass look. The scallops on the center strip were made with a Martha Stewart lace border punch. The DP is from the Mellow collection from Basic Grey. Finished size is 4.25x5.5 inches.

The pink slippers just make the whole card! He is a cutie! I like the DP you chose too, suits the image to a "T"!

Looking again I see you had to get that martha punch! I reach for it constantly... gonna have to hide it on myself so I don't use it on every single card.

Pink warning for Monday's posting!
