Innovative Stamp Creations Sketch Challenge

The sketch challenge host for this month over on RubberstampChat is Innovative Stamp Creations. Play along for a chance to win a free sheet of stamps.

For my card, I used the stamp set Minibook Series: Be Thankful from Innovative Stamp Creations. I began by stamping the cattails scene with Memento Cottage Ivy, adding a bit of Rich Cocoa to the cattail ends. After stamping, I used a brown Copic Multiliner to accent the edges of the grass and leaves, also adding some blue to the water.

Next, I stamped the frame around it and then added the saying. I cut the frame out, trimming around the cattails at the top. I used my Spellbinders Label One to die cut the green panel, then hand cut the brown panel. I added some dots around the green panel with a brown Le Plume marker. I have seen so many people adding charms to their cards so I added the beads and dragonfly (it just happened to match) My bow was created with a Bow Easy. The words at the bottom are also from the same Be Thankful stamp set.
