I was asked by this month's hostess on the OCC, Jenny Gropp, to be a guest designer for the Red, White and Blue challenge.
This was a fun card to make using a technique I have not played with in a while. I stamped all the images on glossy paper. For the small square flag and the round medallion, I used a combination of Marvy LePlume and Memento markers directly on the stamp. Then I just huffed on the stamp (the moisture in your breath hydrates the ink) before stamping down. I love the bright, crisp images you get when you use glossy ink. I used dye ink pads for the other 4 squares.
One of the challenges for my Repeat Impressions Design team was to use a flip card stamp set (some call them waterfall cards) for something other than a flip card. Thus the 5 sqaures; 4 that make up the flag and the saying.
Finished size is 5 x 7 inches. All stamps are from Repeat Impressions
So won't you come over to the OCC and join in on the fun? Be sure to visit the rest of the OCC design team, Jenny Gropp, Silke Ledlow, Cindy Haffner, Jennifer Meyer, Frances Byrne, Vicki Garrett, Loretta Lock and Joycelyn Turner to see what they have come up with.

And a Happy Independence Day to you. This card is perfect for today. Wish I'd have seen it sooner as have 2 friends with July 4th birthdays. Will try it next year. The "One Nation under God" is fitting. Thanks. Edna B
