Double Embossing with Mo Mannings Fairy

I made this card for the Try It Technique TLC245 on Split Coast Stampers.  The technique is a double embossing using a Cuttlebug embossing folder and an oval Nestabilites die.

You can read about the challenge and also find a tutorial on this technique here.  It took me a couple tries to get it right but I love the look.  For only being a 2 layer card, it is pretty impressive.

I printed the wonderful Fairy digi image from Mo's Digital Pencil onto Cryogen white paper using my inkjet printer.  Then following the tutorial, I did my embossing.  Last step was to color this wonderful fairy with my Copic markers.  I put them away before writing them down, but I know her dress is BV04 and the background is B0000.  I used some Angel Wings Shimmerz on her wings and a Spica pen on her wand.

Check out the technique on SCS, you will love it, I sure do.

I just love your card. I just might have to down load this from Mo's. You did a great job coloring.

These are REAL fairies-instead of the fake nubian ones I have seen. Real fairies to be like real peoples. My wish-that I can get this beet juice off my hands so I can color with my pens.

This card is very elegant. I like the double embossing and only two layers. I like this fairy but I have to think of the why I would use her. Great job Sandy!!!

What brilliant embossing. It looks so pretty with Mo's digi image to set it all off. Beautiful work!
