The current challenge over at the Impression Obsession blog is to make a shaker card. They have these really cool Shake It Pouches that make it so easy. They come in a great assortment of sizes and shapes and can be purchased at the IO store. For my card I used the large circle Shake It Pouch.
I began by stamping K7017 Cardinals onto Cryogen paper with Memento black ink. Copics used:Cardinal - R22, R27, R59
Beak - E95
Branch - E42, E43
I airbrushed BG11 into the sky, it closely matches the DP, the scan just does not show it well. Oh, and the best part, these pouches co-ordinate with the Nestabilities dies so it was a very simple matter to cut the opening in the paper as well as the red border. I used Diamond Dust Twinklets for the snow inside of the shaker, very sparkly!
