Mo, from Mo's Digital Pencil came out with a wonderful new image called Miki's Puppies. My friends all know I love dogs so I just had to have this image. Isn't it the cutest?
I began by printing the image onto Cryogen paper from Cutcardstock.com with my inkjet printer. Before coloring I Google'd husky and Inuit images to see how to color the dogs and the little boy's clothing. I found the dogs are mostly shades of gray and brown/gray and the clothing is usually neutral tones. Copics used:
Boy - E000, E00, E02
Hair - E49
Coat and gloves - E42, , E43, E44, YR21
Dogs - C0, C2, W1, W3, R20
Snow - B0000
Then I airbrushed B00 before removing the image from my Spellbinders Labels 3 die.
I wanted the card to look frosty, so I added snowflakes to the airbrushed background with a white Glaze pen. Then I added Diamond Stickies around the edge of the layered DP panel as well as the image panel. I also used Our Craft Lounge Sugar Sparkly Fluff on the fur on the boy's hood. The silver snowflakes are from Jo-Ann's, I think. The snowball gems in the corners are from Hobby Lobby. The DP is from the 6x6 Memory Box Frost collection. Finished size is 5.5" square.

You did it again! A beautiful card in every detail. I do love the glitter edge as it adds the illusion of snow to the scene. The DP paper and snowflakes are perfect.
