Mo's Digital Challenge 11 - Just White

Well due to illness, I missed last weeks Mo's Challenge but I am ready for this one.  Our December Hostess, Lydia, has set this weeks challenge as Just White - the card and embellishments are all to be white, the only color allowed is on the image itself.  I think this is a tough challenge, the last time I tried one of these I did not do so good, lol.  But I am very pleased with what I created here.

I began with a 5x7 card of Ice Gold, it is perfect for snowmen, the bright white sparkle to the paper is really beautiful. Next I punched the border strips with an old Fiskars punch and attached them to my snowflake Cuttlebug panel.  The snowflake panel on the bottom is a small portion of the Cuttlebug Seasons Greetings embossing folder.  I added small pearls to the centers of the snowflakes for a little extra bling.  I printed Mo's adorable Snowman image using my Canon inkjet printer, again onto Ice Gold and then used the following Copics:
Snowman - B0000, YR15
Buttons and Coal - C3
Snow - B0000
Hat and Bird - R46
Scarf and mittens - G21, G28
Branches - E33
I cut the image out with my Spellbinders Labels Four die, then used my new Marvy Snow Marker to make the falling snowflakes.  I also added Sparkly Fluff from Our Craft Lounge to the hat pom.  Added the ribbon and I was done.  Be sure to stop by Mo's Challenge blog  to see what the rest of the DT has come up with and please join in on the fun.

You should be very pleased with this wonderful creation. Cute image and gorgeous card. I thought you had used a Swiss dots folder for the snowman panel. I'll have to check out that Snow Marker...

Well, I think it looks fabulous Sandy :0) The fact that you can keep adding textures, patterns etc without it ever looking 'too much' is great! Can you tell that I like white?? lol

I love this! That Fiskars border punch is so delicate, and I like the traditional red and green of the main image.
