Autumn Wreath by PSX

I spent about 8 hours in my craft room yesterday, pulling everything out and trying to organize.  I purchased a storage cabinet a while back and finally put it together and have it in the room.  I dismantled my drafting table and put that in the barn.  I plan on attaching a table top to the wall that will fold down.  If I need to cut mats (I am also a professional picture framer) then I have the table but otherwise it will be out of the way.  So after hauling all that stuff around yesterday (the majority of which is still in my living room), I sat down to play a bit.

I began with a piece of glossy card stock, some Adirondack dye inks in fall colors and my stipple brushes to make the background paper.  Then I stamped 3 different leaves in various colors onto it.  Kind of cool.  The wreath is an old PSX stamp, I found while cleaning and it just begged to be colored with my Copic markers.  This time I stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa onto Cryogen white from Cutcardstock.  Copics used:
Leaves - Y38, YR02, YR04, YR12, YR15, YR18, R05, YG03
Acorns - E43, E13
Berries - Lipstick Spica pen
Shadow - E42
I airbrushed YR21 before removing the image from my Spellbinders Labels 3 die.  The leaf border punch is from Fiskars.  I did not have card stock that matched like I wanted, so I stippled Adirondack Red Pepper on to it so it matched closer.  I also stippled Adirondack Cranberry onto the ribbon to tone down the gold.  It makes everything blend so well.  A few gold gems and I was done.  Finished size is 5.5" square.

Mo's Digital Challenge 4 - Fancy Folds

This is my last week as the October hostess over on Mo's Digital Challenge blog and I decided for this week we should make fancy folded cards anything except a typical A2 folded card - step cards, special side folds, top flap folds... anything outside of the ordinary goes!

I chose to make a Spring Card with this fabulous Bella and Bronte image called "I Dunno". Aren't they just adorable? I can not decide which of the Bella and Bronte images is my favorite, I love them all.

I began by printing the image on to Cryogen white paper with my inkjet printer.  The fun part for me is coloring with my Copics:
Hair - YR16, YR18
Face - E000, E00, E21
Bandaid - E13
Top - R81, R83
Tutu - V12, V15
Socks - V12
Boots - Y11, Y15
Bronte - E40, E41, E42, E43, R20

Finished size is 6" square.  I hope you will join in on the challenge fun and be sure to check out the blog for more fabulous creations by the Design Team.

Mo's Digital Challenge 3 - Anything But a Card

Here is my design team project for the 3rd challenge over at Mo's Challenge Blog.  The challenge is to make anything but a card.

So I printed out Mo's fabulous Bat Cat onto a printer fabric sheet and colored him in with my Copic markers.  Then I sewed it onto this cute little tote bag, added a few buttons and I was done.

Isn't this just the cutest?  Be sure to check out the other great creations from the design team.  You can see them on the challenge blog

I hope you will join in on the fun.  And be sure to check out all the new images at Mo's Digital Pencil

Mo Manning's Winter Delivery

Mo Manning of Mo's Digital Pencil Too came out with this fabulous Winter Delivery image.  I just love this little squirrel and knew he would look great in a winter scene.

I began by sizing and printing the image onto Cryogen white paper with my inkjet printer.  I also printed the image onto Eclipse tape for a mask.  Then I added the scenic stamps from Sutter Stamps around him, airbrushed some color and the scene was done.  I did add a circle mask to the sky for the moon. Last step was to color the little guy with my Copic markers:
Squirrel - E41, E42, E43, E44, R20
Sack - E21, E33
Leaves - YR14, YG93, E07
Acorns - E09, E13, E42

Gold ball - yr23
Sky - B02, B04  I accented the trees with B000

I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder on the teal panel, added some ribbon and layers of cardstock and I was done.  Finished size is 6" square.

Punkin Sketch challenge

I made this card for this week's Spoon Full of Sugar sketch challenge sponsored by Mo Manning of Mo's Digital Pencil. The winner receives a $20 gift certificate to Mo's store.

This is a great sketch created by my fellow Mo DT member, Caryn Davies. So I wanted to help support her challenge.

I sized and printed "Punkin" onto Cryogen white paper with my inkjet printer and colored him with Copic markers.
Pumpkin - YR02, YR04, YR09
Shirt - V12, V15, V17
Shoes and stem - G40, G21, YG67

I added the shadow with E41 and then airbrushed E42 around the image. I also airbrushed the saying panel and the gems. The ribbon was colored to match with a marker. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

Don't forget Mo's Digital Challenge #2 starts tomorrow for a chance to win a Mo's Digital Image.

A2 Bella and Bronte Skating

Don't forget there is one more day to enter Bella and Bronte's "perple" challenge over on Mo's Challenge blog. Stop by and join in on the fun. You could win a free, never been seen digital image from Mo Manning.

Well, I have used this image in the middle of an 8.5 x 11 inch scene, on a 6 inch square card and now on an A2 which 4.25 x 5.5 inches. It just shows you how much fun you can have with a digital image.

Of course, who can resist this Bella and Bronte skating image from Mo's Digital Pencil? I personally love all the Bella and Bronte images.

I began by sizing and printing the image onto Cryogen white paper with my inkjet printer. I have an older Canon and rarely have trouble with the ink smearing from my Copics, no heat setting or waiting overnight required and it takes heavy card stock.

Copics used:
Bella - E00, R21
Hair - E08
Coat, scarf and hat - R37, G03
Bronte - E42, E43, E44
Scarf - R37, G03
Ice - B000

I made Bella's hat band and muffs fluffy with Sparkly Fluff from Our Craft Lounge. Very cool product, just add some glue, I used the Zig 2 Way Glue, pat some fluff on and tap off the excess. It looks really adorable. The DP is from The Paper Company Studio.

Mo's Digital Challenge Blog Kickoff

We have our first challenge happening over on Mo's Challenge Blog. Evidently "perple" is Bella and Bronte's favorite color so the challenge is to make a card using a Mo Manning image and the color purple. How much purple is up to you! The winner will win a new, never been seen image from Mo and also get the privilege of giving it a name.

I began with this wonderful digital image called "Punkin", isn't he the greatest? I just love Halloween. I sized and then printed him onto Cryogen white paper with my inkjet printer. Copics used:
Punkin - E000, E00, E02
Shirt & tights - V12, V15, V17
Shoes - YG03, YG06, YG09
Pumpkin - YR61, YR65, YR68
Stem - E43, E44
Shadow - E42

Be sure to hop over to the Challenge Blog and check out the rest of the design teams creations.

Mo Manning's Michael & Robin and great news

I am truly honored to have been chosen for Mo Manning's new Challenge Blog team. It is such exciting news and I am thrilled to be designing with Mo's images, I love them so much. And I will be working with some incredible designers so watch for great things soon.

For todays card I combined two digital images using Adobe Photoshop Elements, Michael and Robin and printed them onto my Cryogen white paper with my inkjet printer. Using Copics:
Clouds - B0000
Michael - BG10, BG11, BG13
Michael's hair - E11, E17
Robin - YG11, YG41, YG45
Robin's hair - E08
Skin - E000, E00, E02, R21

Then I airbrushed B12 around them. The saying is computer generated. I did not think it needed much embellishments as the images are so darn cute.

The DP is from 3 Bugs in a Rug. Finished size is 5 x 7 inches.

Impression Obsession Gratitude Challenge

I made this card for the Impression Obsession Gratitude challenge.

I began by stamping the Sweet Gum Branch with Memento Rich Cocoa onto Cryogen white paper. I used a combination of YR12, YR18, YR21, YG18 on the leaves. The branch and seed pods are E43 and E44. I airbrushed YR12 around the image before removing it from the die.

The words are computer generated. I punched out a couple of maple leaves and then airbrushed them with the same colors. I used a brown Copic multi-liner to add some veins to the punched leaves.

Finished size is 5.5 inches square.

More Stampscapes Stipple Tags

Last month my Yahoo group did a Stipple Tag swap and here are the tags I sent to Liz in Australia.

I hand cut the tags from glossy paper, they are 2 5/8 x 5 inches in size. The backgrounds are stippled with Adirondack dye inks, the images are stamped with Marvy Matchables Black ink. All stamps are from Stampscapes Rubber Stamps.

These are quite fun to make and very easy. I think they are wonderful for card enclosures and make great bookmarks. You can jazz them up with various ribbons and threads. Give them a try. Thanks for stopping by.

The Mystery of the Black Cat Candy Thief

I made this card to play along with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch challenge this week.

Mo Manning was very generous and gave the members of her SNR group this wonderful little detective image called Lookin' for Clues which I combined with Bronte dressed in his Halloween cat outfit. Cute, huh?

I printed the image onto my Cryogen white paper with my inkjet printer. Copics used:
Bronte - E41, E42 E43, R21
Cat costume - BV23, BV25
Pumpkin - E92, E95, E97
Coat - originally grays but it did not match the DP so I added E51, E53, E55
Skin - E000, E00, E02
Hats - B91, B93, YG63
Pants - B91
Shoes - Y21, B91, YG63

Then I airbrushed BV11 around the image before removing it from my long rectangle Nestabilitie die. Finished size is 4 x 8.75 inches.
