Mo Manning Shy Valentine Nessa side step card

I have had great fun lately trying new folds.  This one is called a side step fold.  It is made from an A2 size card stock, 5.5 x 8.5 inches.  You can adjust the size of the left side panel to fit the image you are going to use.  I have created a template for those that might be interested in trying this fold.

For my card, I chose Mo Manning's new Shy Valentine Nessa.  I made my left hand panel 3 inches wide so I sized Nessa  to fit and printed her onto Cryogen white paper with my inkjet printer. Copics used:
Hair - Y23, YR23, Y35
Skin - E000, E00, E02
Skirt and Socks- RV21
Heart - RV21, RV23, RV29
Shoes - E33
Background - BG0000

The saying was computer generated using a font called Edwardian Script ITC.  I just love the curly cues on the capital letters.  I outlined the letters with BG0000 for some shadow effects.  The DP is from Archivers, the glitter hearts are from K&Company.  Here is a side view of the card.  You could place a photo or a gift card in the valley where I have the saying.  Thanks for stopping by and if you make a card, please leave me a comment so I can check it out.

This is a clever design. I again love your DP and Copic coloring. It is a beautiful card. Does the finished card fit into an A2 envelope?

I worked on this card and the first one I goofed up, the second one I got it all but one fold and the third one came out perfect. Should have read the directions better. But now I have it. Thanks for the wonderful design. Wish I had paper like yours. You always find such good ones. Edna
