Grapes and Buttlerflies

Today is Friday, so that means ABC Toys and Crafts.  You need to check out their blog for some fantastic giveaways as well as discount codes for February.  Read down the blog as there are multiple postings.

This card is a little different for me, I rarely cut anything out.  But I am loving this grape vine from the Hero Arts Clear Stamps set, Artistic Grapes. I stamped the grapes with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Cryogen paper, cut them out and then used my Copics:
Grapes - B60, B63, R81
Leaves - G40, G94
Branch - E43
Shadow - C1

Next I stamped this lovely butterfly from the Hero Arts Clear Stamps set, Antique Engravings.  I cut this out as well and again used my Copics:
Butterfly - B60, B63, R30, white Glaze pen
Shadow - C1

I used my Spellbinders Labels Two die to cut out the two panels, airbrushing B66 around the left edge of the white before removing it from the die.  Once again, no DP but who needs it with such great images.  The border is from Martha Stewart, Deep Edge Garden Trellis Border.  Finished size is 5.5 inches square.

Be sure to visit the ABC Design Blog on Sunday for a new challenge with a chance to win a $10 store credit.

This is beautiful. I like this kind of card. More work to cut, but the end results are great. Good choice of colors also. Edna
