Loon Pond

I was working on a new Stampscapes class and created this card, then realized that the loon is not from Stampscapes, so back to the drawing board.

But I thought I would share the card with you anyway.  All stamps are from Stampscapes except the loon which is from Stamps by Impression.

I stamped this with Marvy Black ink onto Staples Photo Plus glossy paper.  I love this paper, it give vibrant images, the ink goes on so easily and you don't need to seal it.  The colors do not fade.  I added Adirondack Stonewashed to the sky and water, Adirondack Lettuce to the grass and trees and Adirondack Sandal to the shoreline.  Then I used Tombow markers on the tree trunks and rocks.

Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

So who made that loon? I like him. This reminds me of the pond at my son's father in law's camp ground in Iowa. I am sitting on the right, smacking skeeters but loving it.
