Our hostess this month, Dawn, over at Mo's Challenge blog has set our challenge this week to "Wood" you be mine. Make a Valentines card and incorporate wood, use the word 'would', faux wood, wood floor, etc. Well in this wonderful image called "Young Love", Jack and Ginger are sitting on a wooden bench. I just love this image, I think they are the cutest couple.
I measured my Spellbinder Curved Rectangle die, then sized my image to fit. After printing the image onto Cryogen white paper with my inkjet printer, I used the following Copics:
Skin - E000, E00
Ginger Hair - C1
Ginger Shirt - R81
Ginger Sweater - R83
Ginger Hat - R83, R85
Ginger Shoes - C2
Jack Hair - W1
Jack Shirt - E51, did not like that so added G40
Jack Sweater - BG93
Jack Shoes - W3
Jeans and Skirt - B91
Bench - E41, E43, C4
Ground - G40, E51, E50
Birds - B21, R20
The DP is from Basic Grey's Vagabond collection. The sentiment is computer generated. Finished size is 5 x 7 inches. Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creations and join in on the fun for a chance to win a Mo Manning digi image. Also, starting this month, we will be searching for a Guest Designer to join us. Be sure to check out this weeks post for all the details.
