Sarah Kay Spring Blossoms Birthday

The challenge this week over at ABC Toys and Crafts blog is "Birthday"  Enter for a chance to win a $10 credit at ABC Toys and Crafts store.

I decided to use this lovely Sarah Kay stamp called Spring Blossoms.  I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Cryogen paper and then colored her with my Copic markers:
Face- E000, E00
Hair - E13, E19
Jeans - G40
Top and Hat - Y21, Y23
Hat Band - G40, purple Souffle pen
Scissors - C1
Flowers - RV95, YR16
Stems - G21

I followed a sketch I found on the Paper Craft Planet group, I {heart} Copics. Kind of a fun little sketch.  I used my Spellbinders Oval Nesties to die cut the image and the green oval.  The gold and purple panels were embossed with Cuttlebug folders.  The flowers are from my stash, the branches are a Martha Stewart Punch. I used a green Glaze pen to add the dots on the green edges.   Finished size is 6" square.

You took that sketch and did a beautiful job. Your colors are perfect. I love them and the embossed panels. Of course, the Sarah Kay image adds to the beauty of your card.

Just hopping through blogs and your card caught my eye. I love this SK image and I love the design you have chosen for her. Great idea to cuttlebug the sections in that way and I love the colours too! Warmest wishes, Lesley

What product did you use to do the dots along the edges? They are the most perfect dots.
