BugABoo Flower Mouse

I am having fun today playing with images and finding challenges.  This little cutie is a sketch challenge for Catch the Bug and he is also a digi stamp from BugABoo stamps called Fat Mice - Flower.

I started by making my card first, then figuring out the size I wanted the mouse to be.  I got it done and did not like that the mouse was on a white background, so I cut him out and mounted him onto a piece of coordinating DP.  Then it needed something else, so out came my Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.  Now it is looking good.  Copics used:
Mouse - E71, R20
Heart - E08
Flower - Y11, E000, YG93
I colored the flower with Y11 but it was too yellow for the DP so I added E000 on top and it matched perfectly.

Finished size is 5x7 inches.  The border punch is Martha Stewart Floral Lace.  The DP is from the Paper Loft.  I am also entering this in the Distressed challenge at Stamp Something.

Cute card. Love the way you mounted it with the flower hanging over the next triangle. Edna
