I thought I would try something a little different on this card. This is a fold I call a Z-fold. The left panel folds back on it's self and forms the letter Z.
I began with Mo Manning's Home 'Tweet' Home digi image, which Mo gave to members of her Paper Craft Planet group when they hit 650 members. I sized it to fit my Spellbinder's Nestabilities Circle die, then printed it onto Cryogen paper with my inkjet printer. Copics used:
Wreath - E21, E33, Y15
Twine and sign - E42
Hearts - R35
Lovebirds - B12, E00
I used a white Glaze pen to add the dots on the scallop die cut. This is what I call a Z-fold card. It closes to an A2, 4.25 x 5.5 inches but it is kind of hinged.
I cut my card stock 5.5 x 11.25 inches, then scored at 4.25" , 6.25" and 8.25" which leaves a 3" flap to add the image. Click on the image to the right for a closer view, can you see how the front is folded back on itself?
And here is an image of the card flat. Just something a little different. I like how the card stands up and adding the circle on the inside gives you lots of room for a sentiment or personal note.
Oh and here is a pic of the card closed, 4.25 x 5.5 inches. It is kind of a surprise for the recipient when they take it out of the envelope and see how it opens. Thanks for stopping by.
