Mo's Digital Challenge 22 - A Shaped Card

Cathy, our hostess at Mo's Challenge Blog has set this weeks challenge to a Shaped Card, anything but a rectangle or square, or a card that folds down to a rectangle or square.  My Z-fold card in my previous post was my first attempt, I had missed the part in the rules about it not folding into a rectangle.  So I had to scratch that idea.

But I dug out my Spellbinder's Nestabilities Scalloped Paisley dies, measured the largest and then sized Mo's digi image "Patience" to fit.  I printed the image onto Cryogen paper with my inkjet printer.  Copics used:
Kitty - Y21, Y35, E02, R21
Girl - E000, E00, E02
Hair - E11, E13, E07
Jeans - BV02
Top - RV02, Pink Spica pen

I airbrushed B32 around the image before I removed it from the die.  I cut a second scalloped paisley for the back, again airbrushing before removing it from the die.  I bent the top over then glued it to the back of the first paisley so it would open like a card.  Added the ribbon I colored with RV04 to match and I was done.

Be sure to check out all the other lovely creations from the Design Team at Mo's Challenge blog.  And join in on the fun for a chance to win a Mo's Digital image.

Adorable! When we first spotted our oldest cat, Jet, she was beinig held in just about this same way by the daughter of a friend. They wanted to get rid of Jet and I figured if she could tolerate this treatment so well, she'd be a great addition to our family, and she has been! Thanks for the memory!
