While blog hopping yesterday, I came across a new digi image company called Kenny K's I was raised on comic books and have always loved Manga art. Well, Kenny K's images are just this style. And they are doing a DT call. So I downloaded the Golfer freebie from their store, purchased a couple of images and made a card.
Using Adobe Photoshop Elements, I sized and merged the Golfer freebie and Download Diva, printing them onto Cryogen paper with my inkjet printer. Copics used:
Faces - E0000, E000, E00
Girl's Hair - E11, E15
Eyes - B12
Top - R81, R83
Jeans - B91, B93
Shoes - R81, R83, C1
Boy's Hair - YR21
Hat - E41
Slacks - E41, E42
Shirt - G40, G21, B91, B93
Glove - W00
Golf Club - E42, C1
Shoes - E43, W1
The DP is from the Basic Grey Origins collection. I used some golf ball brads to which I added some string. The border is a Martha Stewart 3 Dot Scallop punch. I airbrushed the gems to match the paper. Finished size is 5 x 7.
I am excited about Kenny K's digis. I just love to color these type images, they have so much expression and movement. They are looking for DT's to start a challenge blog in July. I am going to throw my hat into the ring and hope they like my work enough to choose me.
