Darn It!

The title certainly fits this card for me.  I was working on my challenge card for Mo's Digital Challenge blog for tomorrow and got the theme's confused, I thought it was stitching.  So now I have no card for tomorrow, they are due by 5:30 pm but I do have this great card using Mo's Darn It image to share with you. However I did find a challenge this will fit, over at Dare U 2 Digi Stamp, their challenge is Stitching!

I sized and printed the image onto Cryogen paper with my inkjet printer.  Copics used:
Elf - E000, E00
Hair - E13, E18, E44
Shirt - YG91
Vest - YR20, YG93
Buttons - YG93
Tights - YR21, YR23
Socks - YG91, YG93
Shoes - E44
Pants - E31, YG91
Spool - E21
Thread and Shadow - E41
Thimble - W00, W1, Clear Glitter Pen

The DP is from Hobby Lobby, a paper pack called Simple Elegance.   For the ribbon, I used Flower Ribbon Border Creatables Die from Marianne Design.  I added some brads to the centers of the flowers for a more masculine look.  The corner is a set of 2 dies, Double Die Corner from Sweet Stamps.  Finished size is 5 x 7.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will visit Mo's Digital Challenge tomorrow to see what I should have been working on!

You make me laugh! That is so like something I'd do. Well, you did a great job on the card and there's bound to be a challenge around that would work!

This is a great card, Sandy! I love the corner element...very elegant. I made a 'boo-boo' this week, too....I had saved my entry as a draft, so it didn't go on-line when it should have!
