Today was class with my monthly stamping ladies, and they asked me to make a sympathy card. I don't have any sympathy sayings but thought this card might do....
I started with a piece of glossy paper then using these great Shades dye inks from Sweet Stamps, I stippled Palm Grove and Forest on the bottom, Tidal Wave and Aquamarine on the top. Then I stamped the trees from Stampin Up's Lovely as a Tree set. The background is a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The saying is from an old See-D stamp set. I colored the ribbon to match with a Copic marker. Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

This would be a perfect sympathy card! That set always looks fresh and new no matter how many times I see it.

Thanks for sharing this technique... a beautiful card.
oh I love this. I have been trying to find some stipple brushes. I think I might need to visit the art store in town. xxoo
