Butterfly Lattice card

Here is the second card we did in class on Friday.  I really like this card, elegant but simple.

I started with this great Cheery Lynn Designs Lattice 2 Die.  It is the same size as an A2 card, 4.25 x 5.5 inches.  Then I just snipped out a few of the cross pieces to create the opening in the lattice.  Next I laid the lattice on my piece of DP and traced the opening and cut it out.  Then I glued the lattice down to the DP and then the DP down to a card made from Curious Poison Ivory paper.  Then I stamped this lovely Sweet Stamps Bold Butterfly Medium with Shades Cityscape ink and heat embossed it with Pearl Embossing powder.  I used Copics RV21 and RV34 to color the butterfly.  Last steps were to add a few pearls and some gray stitch lines with my Copic Multiliner.  Finished size is 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Can you see all the possibilities with this die, you can cut any portion of the lattice apart to add images or sayings or use it as is.  A very versatile and fun die.

How imaginative-beautiful. Wonderful!
I think I lack imagination.
