Today I wanted to show you some of the great texture you can achieve with Cheery Lynn Designs products.
I began with my largest French Flair XL Stackers die for the card base. I moved the paper over just a bit so it would leave a hinge. Next I used my Large Rectangle Stitcher Plate to add wonderful stitching texture on the card base. For the background piece, I cut a coordinating French Flair XL Silver Stacker out of Coredinations Core Essentials paper. I embossed this piece with my Eccentric Circles XL embossing plate, then I sanded the raised areas to reveal the inner lighter core of the paper. This adorable image is from Mo Manning, she is called Sophie. I printed her onto Cryogen paper then colored her with my Copic markers.
Sophie - E000, E00
Sophie's Hair - E13
Sophie's Dress and Socks - V12
Doll - E41
Doll's Dress - G12
Doll's Hair - E33
Shadow - C1
I used my Scalloped Oval XL Stackers and the coordinating Oval XL Silver Stacker to create the panel behind Sophie. I embossed the purple panel with my Petite Hearts XL embossing plate, again sanding the paper to bring up the embossed hearts. For the green rectangle panel, I added texture with my Large Rectangle Stitcher Plate I created the flower using my Tropical Flower die, adding a flourish from my Bird on a Branch 2 die. I think this is a wonderful look with no designer paper needed
