Sweet Stamps Challenge 6 - Think Spring

Today is our sixth challenge on the Sweet Stamps blog.  Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree.  Our challenge this week is a to Think Spring.  I hope you will play along with us.

When I Think Spring, I think of flowers blooming.  I think Sweet Stamps has some of the best flower stamps out there!  I used Entwined Roses and Welcome Spring for my card, stamping them with Memento Tuxedo black ink.  I colored the roses with my Copics:
Roses - R81, R83
Leaves YG91, YG93, R83
Shadow - W1
I followed this weeks sketch over at Sketch Saturday, using Cheery Lynn Designs English Tea Party Doily die for the large circle and Cheery Lynn Designs Circle XL Stackers die behind the image.  I embossed the smaller circles with my Cheery Lynn Designs Circle Stitcher plate.  I love the texture it adds to the paper.  The DP is from the Basic Grey Porcelain 6x6 paper pad.  I used the solid pieces of paper from the pad for the circle behind the rose and the bottom two layers of the flowers (Nellie Snellen punches).  Dies are a great way to use up these papers.  Finished size is 6" square.  Be sure to visit Sweet Stamps blog and see what the rest of the team has created for you.   And please join in on the fun!

Love your card, it's so soft and elegant. The ribbon and the doily work well together and I like the added pearls.
