Cheery Lynn Designs New Release

Cheery Lynn Designs is releasing 25 amazing new dies today and the Design Team has created some wonderful projects with them.  We will be designing with the new dies all week so be sure to check the Cheery Lynn Designs blog each day.  Also, one lucky person leaving comments on today's Cheery Lynn Designs blog post and every post through Sunday May 8th will win a
$25 shopping spree at Cheery Lynn Designs.

For my project I used the great new Screen Door with Cat die; and you get two pieces of pre-cut screen with the die!  How cute is this?

I began with a 6x6 inch card.  I cut a hole for the door, then die cut two of them, one for the inside and one for the outside.  I attached the screen to the back of the die for the front of the card, then adhered them both to the card base.  Then I lined up the other door and adhered it to the inside of the card.  To make the window, I die cut an opening using die #1 (smallest) from the Cheery Lynn XL Square Stackers Nesting dies.  Then using a piece of 2-sided sticky tape, I centered die #1 on top of die #2 and then cut two frames for my window.  I added a piece of Lattice to the front window frame and then another piece of screen before adhering it to the card base.  I added the second frame to the inside of the card.  For the flowers I used a small part of Fanciful Flourish, this die is just beautiful, with some of the smallest flowers from the Darling Daisies set.  I die cut the cat from black card stock and set him on the window sill, then die cut the door handles from black card stock as well.  To finish off my card, I used this cute Sarah Kay stamp colored with Copic markers.

Don't forget to visit the Cheery Lynn Designs blog each day this week for some great inspiration and a chance to win a $25 shopping spree.  As always thanks for stopping by.

Cutest card. Love everything about it from the door and window to the little girl. Colors are just right too. Even the little flowers add to the card. You're cards are the greatest. Edna
