Outlines Monday Challenge 7 - Red Hot

Before we get to today's card, I wanted to say goodbye to Bev Gerard and Vicki Garrett from the Outlines Design team, sadly they are leaving us.  It was great fun working with you ladies!  On another note, I would like to welcome our two new members, Kecia Waters and Sue Kment.

Our team challenge this week for Outlines Rubber Stamp is Red Hot, to use the color red as a main ingredient in your design. Visit the Outlines Rubber Stamp blog to join the challenge for a chance to win a $25 shopping spree and to see what the rest of the design team has created.

I decided to play with another of my blossom stamps, this one is H-369 Fancy Blossom .  I heat embossed it with black embossing powder on three shades of red card stock.  Then I trimmed out the blossoms and created the 6 layers that make up the flower.  I used pop dots between each layer so this card has quite a bit of height.  The wonderful DP is from the Jillibean Blossom Soup 6x6 paper pad.  I added some accents with my black Viva Decor Pearl pen.  Finished size is 5.5 inches square.

Be sure to visit the Outlines blog and join in on the challenge for a chance to win a $25 shopping spree at Outlines Rubber Stamp company

Like the way you used your blossom die to create the center piece. Very clever. Edna
