Sweet Stamps Challenge 22 - Christmas in July

All month long Sweet Stamps is having a Christmas in July sale, all Christmas and Winter stamps are 25% off.  So the design team will be using these stamps all month to give you inspiration.  Today our challenge at Sweet Stamps blog is.....

Christmas in July

Anyone can enter, but if you use a Sweet Stamps rubber stamp you get two entries into the challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree.

I love making Christmas cards, so I always enjoy July when we get just a little taste of the holiday.  For my card I stamped Oval Lace Frame LargePoinsettia Large, Small Poinsettia and Merry Christmas with white dye ink onto 36# vellum.  Using my Stylus Tools and Embossing Mat I dry embossed them all from the back side of the vellum.  I added color to the back of the flowers with my Memento markers.  Then I used my 4-Split tool to cut out the flowers then mounted them on the frame with Mini Glue Dots.  I used brads to adhere the vellum to my card base.  Finished size is 4.75 x 6.5 inches.

Be sure to visit Sweet Stamps blog and see what the rest of the team has created for you.   And please join in on the fun!

Very pretty, but I can't think about Christmas yet. To many other things before that. LOL But I'm sure I'll wish I had before Dec. 25. Edna
