Cheery Lynn Designs Holiday cards

In the new release for October from Cheery Lynn Designs are these two fabulous dies, Santa's Sleigh and Christmas Sleigh Border   I have combined them with Anastasia Border to create this wonderful easel card.  I created my card base using the largest of the Scallop French Flair Stackers Nesting dies, then cutting a panel with the matching Silver French Flair Stackers for the background.  I embossed this with my XL Snowflake Flurries Embossing plate.  Finished size is 6" square.

Here is another card made with the same dies (other than the Stackers) but I chose to add a piece of vellum behind the sleigh and color it in.  Isn't that snowflake background fabulous?  It is one of my favorite embossing plates.   Be sure to stop by Cheery Lynn Designs to see the new release for this month, they are simply amazing.  And visit the design team blog each day for more inspiration.

They are both beautiful, I love vellum one especially. Wonderful job.

Gorgeous cards! I love how you used the vellum behind the second card coloring it. Much easier than replacing 'bit and pieces'.

Wow, wow, wow, both of these cards are gorgeous. I do think the addition of the vellum on the second card is terrific.
