Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 16 - Frame It

The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs blog is to Frame It.  I decided again to use the new Celtic Chain Rectangle Reflection dies and the Spring Basket 2 to make a flower basket.  For the background panel, using Curious Poison Ivory card stock, I inked up my Hearts and Rose Leaves XL embossing plate with Antique Linen Distress Ink then debossed my paper.   I love the delicate look of this embossing plate.  To create the beautiful flowers, I used Miniature Rose, Medium Rose, and Large Rose for the pale pink rose and Cuties 3 for the darker pink roses.  The last step was the addition of the Small Dragonfly w/Angel Wing and the Olive Branches.  Finished size is 5 x 7 inches.  Be sure to visit the challenge blog for more inspiration.  And Cheery Lynn Designs is doing a DT call, check out the details here.

If you live in the Mid-Michigan area and are interested in making this card and learning to create these beautiful flowers with Cheery Lynn Designs dies, you can attend my class at Inspiration Station in Ovid, MI on March 18th.  Call the store for details.
