The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge blog is to Think Spring. Nothing says Spring to me like flowers. Using my Easi-Score board and the included directions for a Squash Book, I created this adorable flowery book. I decorated the front starting on the bottom with the center medallion from my Scandinavian Hearts Frame, Stacker Flower 2 and 5 and finishing with Judy's Blooms.
Here is what the book looks like opened up. Lots of room for embellishments or even family photos if you wanted. Each of the background panels was cut using my Scalloped Square Little Stacker. Just the right size. And the tiny little scallops are a wonderful look.
On the left side, I added another flower created with Judy's Blooms to which I added some Olive Branches, next came the sentiment I created on my computer and cut out with my Scalloped Circle Little Stacker.
On the right side, I added a beautiful butterfly from my Exotic Butterfly Small 2 and coordinating Angel Wing sets as well as another flower created with Judy's Blooms.
I added a ribbon under the front panel that pulls around and ties in the back.
Closed this is only 2.75" square. Be sure to visit the Challenge blog for more inspiration from my team members and please join us for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree at Cheery Lynn Designs.
