Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 28 - Bling it Up
The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs challenge blog is to Bling it Up. I began my card by cutting a base using my Scalloped Square XL Stackers and then using my matching Silver Square Stackers to cut a DP background piece. This elegant paper is from the SEI Silver Valley 6x6 paper pad. To this I added a Dainty Dutch Deco Frame. This frame also cuts the wonderful medallion you see under my flower created with Cherry Blossoms. You might be wondering where my bling is on this card.
Before die cutting the medallion and the cherry blossoms, I added Scor-Tape to the front side of the card stock, then die cut the shapes making sure the Scor-Tape was against the die. I peeled off the release paper and added Sugar Beads to the tape. See how frosty and pretty it looks? I can't wait to try this technique with snowflakes on my holiday cards. Finished size is 6" square.
