Give Peace a Chance

How cute is this image?  It is called Give Peace a Chance by the incredibly talented artist Sylvia Zet for SCACD.  I just love her Peace sign necklace and bell bottom pants.  I remember those days!  I stamped her onto Cryogen paper and colored her with my Copic markers.

I thought the colors and patterns in Basic Grey's Pyrus paper pack suited the image perfectly.  I die cut lots of DP panels using my Scalloped Square Lg Stackers and the coordinating Silver Square Stackers.  I even realized I can cut rectangle panels by cutting twice, lining the first cut up in the die.  Too cool!  I added a Canadian Kaleidoscope doily, which I cut in two pieces and slid under the two square panels.  Then a Sunflower embellishment with leaves from Judy's Blooms and my card was complete.  Finished size is 6" square.
Be sure to visit the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge blog to join in the fun for a weekly $20 shopping spree to Cheery Lynn Designs.  They are also giving away a Big Shot die cut machine this month, so check it out.
