Cheery Lynn Designs Doily card

I started out making a tag, which evolved into an ornament which evolved into a tent card, lol.  I love mixing Cheery Lynn Designs dies.  For this I used two doilies, two snowflakes and a border die.

I began with the beautiful Pinwheel Doily with angel wing.  I found that you can spin the die cut in the die and add extra cuts to all the fins of the doily, so that is what I did using white card stock.  Then I cut the angel wing out of red card stock.  I rotated the angel wing to see more of the red.  Next layer up is the Notre Dame Cathedral Doily with angel wings.  I trimmed off the outer ring of the red card stock doily then added a DP angel wing.  Next up is Snowflake #7 in white with one of the smaller flakes from the new Snowflowers Set Two die cut from red in the center.   I used Tiffany Border along the bottom of the card. 

I used pop dots between each of the layers for some added dimension.  The last step was to add a bunch of pearl accents.  Finished size is 5.75" square.

I was asked to explain what I meant about spinning the paper in the die to add more cuts.  Here is a pic of the Pinwheel Doily die.

 
As you can see, every other fin of the doily has expanding circles on them.  Here you can see the doily after it is cut but still in the die.

So what I did was rotate the doily one fin to the right as shown in this next pic.  This will die cut the circles in the blank fins.

And here is the result, the white doily on the left is a normal cut, the red doily on the right is a rotated cut.  Two beautiful looks from one die.
