Cheery Lynn Designs Doily challenge

The challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs is to use a Doily.  I have created a fancy fold square card; I am sure it has a name but don't know what it is.  I began with a piece of card stock 5 7/8 x 11 3/4.  I folded it in half and then folded the front panel in half again away from the inside.  I die cut Waltzing Matilda Lace Doily three times.  I doubled up the one on the front for more stability then added the third on the inside of the card so they line up perfectly when the card is closed.

To create my flowers I used my Miniature, Medium and Large Roses adding a green leaf under each die cut from my Daisy Strip and my Darling Daisies dies.  I used my Flourish Leaf Strip for the extra greenery.

The last step was to add the two Exotic Butterflies Small#1 die cuts in the corners.  I think I will probably add a panel on the inside purple piece for a sentiment.  That way it won't show when the card is closed.
Be sure to visit the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge blog for more inspiration and to join in on this week's Doilies challenge for a chance to win $20 to the store.
