Gate Fold Easel Card

For my Cheery Lynn Designs project today, I decided to create a Gate fold Easel card.  It sounds complicated but it really isn't.  Just make a normal gate fold card, then create an easel card about 1/8 of an inch narrower and insert it into the middle of your gate fold.  To decorate the front of my card, I used my Large Sunflower Doily; adding a circle of dotted paper cut with my Silver Circle Stackers.  I die cut Spring Basket 2 hand trimming a backing for the basket portion.  Using the smallest of the Nesting Eggs, I cut two eggs, applied Scor-Tape and then added Lace Egg 5 and Lace Egg 7.  I added glitter to give them some bling!  I used my Grass Border for nesting the eggs in the basket.  I added a butterfly to the handle with some airbrushed gems.

When you open the card you will see another glitter Lace Egg 7 on the right panel, more grass and a Lace Corner Deco A embellishment.

On the inside left panel, you see another glitter Lace Egg 5 as well as the grass and corner die.  You can see the back of the Sunflower doily as well.

And here is the easel portion of the card.  I used my Polynesian Sails Oval and matching Angel Wing to frame this adorable image from Karen's Doodles.  I added Happy Easter across the inside border piece.

When closed this card is 6" square.  This shows you what it looks like open from the side.  It is larger than my photo area and it was very hard to get good shots.   This is not a complicated card and was quite fun to decorate.
