Up Up and Away with Cheery Lynn Designs

Here is one last Steampunk project with the new dies from Cheery Lynn Designs.  I started with an embossed panel using my Eccentric Circles embossing plate; cutting it to 3 1/8 x 6 1/4 inches and trimming the edges to make a tag.  Next I added a portion of the new Pocket Watch die to the upper right corner, again adding a gear in the center before attaching the hands.  I added more Gears along the bottom of the tag.  Using my Hot Air Balloons with Angel Wings, I die cut this fabulous balloon, popping it up on the tag.  I added a bit of Distress ink along the edges of the balloon to make it look rounded.  I added a piece of Celtic Band border down the upper left to balance out the tag.  Lastly I added some Distress Ink along the edges of the tag and some metallic hardware.

Be sure to visit the Cheery Lynn Designs Inspiration blog for more wonderful creations from this month's release and for a chance to win one of the new dies.

I haven't been a Steampunk fan - yet; I really like those gears and how they balance out your tag. Nice job on it, Sandy.
