Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry Layered Stencils
I am taking Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry classes online and for those of you who know how anal I am, this is a real challenge. This tag is for the Layered Stencils portion of day 2. I only have one Distress Paint, Picket Fence so I used that with the 2 stencils that I have to create a resist on my kraft card stock. Once that was dry, I added Distress inks, spritzing a bit to get the ink to move. I stamped my images and then decided to add some Black Soot Distress ink around the edges of the tag. It seems to have moved the ink creating a cool look but I don't know why. Will see if Tim can answer that question. As you can see, I tend to be too regimented with my stamping; I can't help it, that is how I am put together, lol. Waiting for some more supplies to arrive so I can do some of the other lessons. It is a great class.

Sandy, I've been taking this class too. Enjoying it a lot. You did an awesome job on the tag.
However you arrived at this finished tag, I think it's awesome. Great job. Bev is taking the class too but I never took the first one, so couldn't take the 2nd one. Wish I had now. Again, super job. Edna
Great Halloween tag, Sandy! Not your typical type of card but awesome in the "Tim" way.
Oh my, how fun! That is one gorgeous tag and right down my alley, if you know what I mean! Can't wait to see your other stuff! xoxox
Wow,Sandy! Your tags are awesome! What a lot of fun with the paints and inks! The dancing skeleton is a hoot! You have the touch, for sure.
You are doing brilliant with these Tags Sandy, and congrats on your achievement with the magazine too. Judy x
