Piccolo Vintage Birdcage Charms

For my Piccolo project today, I decided to play with my Vintage Birdcage Charm set.  This is a fun set as you get two birdcages with backings.  You can use them as charms, earrings, card embellishments or even keychains.

I decided to make mine into jeweled keychain embellishments. 

For the larger birdcage, I heat embossed the background with Turquoise Lagoon powder, check out all the sparkle in that powder.  The cage is heat embossed with Vintage Silver.  I added an Ouvert Key also embossed with Vintage Silver.  Love the chunky look of this powder, you can change the look based on the amount of heat you apply.

For the smaller birdcage, I heat embossed the background with Royal Sterling powder, again check out all the flecks of glitter in the powder.  The cage is heat embossed with Siam Silver.  This is a smoother, less vintage looking embossing powder.  I added a key from the Mini Key set also embossed with Siam Silver.
