Zendala Class

I took a Zendala class today at The Green Door Studio, taught by Sheryl Lamarand, Certified Zentangle Teacher.  It was a lot of fun and I look forward to the next class in April.  We began with a prestrung Zendala tile, the basic outline is printed on the tile in light gray as shown below on the right and then we filled in all the open areas with various Zentangles.

The new Zentangles we learned today were: Betweed, Echoism, Rick's Paradox, Mooka, Ahhh, Knightsbridge, Wheels and Zingers.  I used a 0.1 and 0.5 Black Micron pen and then shading was added with a pencil and a blending stump.  I am very pleased for my first try at a Zendala.  Although I am very anal, I truly enjoy this craft.  I want to try another one but do it in color rather than black and white.  Stay tuned, lol!

Nicely done for a first timer; Sandy. Looks like it is so involved but I know it is relaxing from others who have tried this.

Turned out beautiful, especially for the 1st time. The lines are so even. Great job. Edna
