Heartfelt Creations Under the Sea

Heartfelt Creations May release is called Under the Sea.  What a fun collection filled with beautiful flowers and fun sea creatures.  My card today is an example of what you can create with just the Creative Essentials kit.  Beginning with a 6x6 coral card stock base, I added the Hibiscus panel 6" x 6" panel, trimming it down to 5 3/4" square.  From the next panel which has the underwater scene, I cut out the square section and then trimmed out the circle center section.  I backed each of these with card stock and then popped up the circle with dimensional foam.  I added a bit of Crystal Ultra Fine Transparent Glitter to the seaweed.

Using text weight Cryogen metallic paper, I stamped the Tropical Hibiscus and the Leaves twice with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Using the coordinating Tropical Hibiscus die set, I cut them out.  I added color using Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries Distress Ink for the flowers.  I used G24 and G28 Copic markers for the leaves.  Using my stylus tool from my Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, I shaped the petals and stacked two same size petals to create each flower.  I used the 3 smallest blossoms from the stamp set.  I trimmed the stamen off the lower petals.  I added yellow glitter to the stamens and flower centers.  Then added micro fine transparent glitter around the edges of the flowers and leaves.  I matted the "You Inspire me" panel from the paper pack and added that to finish the front of the card.

To complete the inside of the card, I added another 6x6 panel and layering one of the smaller panels from the paper pad for a sentiment.  I fussy cut one of the fish from the paper; popping him up with dimensional foam.
