Retirement card
I needed to make a retirement card for my best bud, Jude. I just love this wren and thought I could make him into a nice "guy" card. (To order this wren, contact Gray Wolf Graphics at 269 637-2740, tell them Sandy H sent you). I colored him with my Copics, (see April 10th post for specifics) and using my Spellbinders rectangle Nestabilities I cut him out. While it was still in the die, I airbrushed some B34 Manganese Blue around the bird. Using my Nestabilities again, I created the plaid panel as well as the dark brown scalloped panels. If you look closely, you will see that the straight edge rectangle panels are embossed as well. The sentiment is computer generated, once again cut out using a die and airbrushed. I punched the 4 corners of the card with my EK Success Concave Paper Shaper and added some color co-ordinated rhinestones to finish it off. The designer paper is "Outdoor Plaid" from The Robin's Nest, the stripes are the reverse side.
