Take the Scenic Route

Here is a quick little scene I put together, I think it would make a nice guy card. The loon, the distant shores and the land in the foreground are from Repeat Impressions The branches, water pattern and seagulls are from Stampscapes As usual, this is stamped on Curious Cryogen white paper with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I airbrushed the sky with Copic B21 Baby Blue and R83 Rose Mist. The water was done with Copic Markers BG000 Pale Aqua and BG01 Aqua Blue. But I also airbrushed in a little of the R83 Rose Mist for reflection. For the grass I started with a base coat of G40 Dim Green, then darkened the grass blades with G82 Spring Dim Green. For rocks, I always start with E70 Ash Rose and shadow with E71 Champagne. I used these same colors for the rocks on the distant cliffs but used G24 Willow for the pines. The word stamp is from Stampers Anonymous , it is one of my favorite sayings. I stamped it with Adirondack Stream ink. I believe the brads are from Making Memories. The completed card is 5 x 7 inches. Thanks for stopping by.

Very nice scene Sandy. Loons, Swans and Wood Ducks are my favorites. Thanks for the color numbers. Terrific scene!

Yep, a great guy card. I've just reviewed your entire blog and while I like everything, I really love the scenes with critters. You are such a talent, bud!!!
