Kevin from Stampscapes added a new scene to his gallery, so I decided to have a try at it. The finished scene is about 5 x 11 inches. It is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Curious Cryogen White. I masked the tree trunks to add the grass behind them. The misty looking trees in the distance were stamped with Memento London Fog. The cabin is colored with E41 Pearl White, E43 Dull Ivory and then as an after thought I added some E04 Lipstick Natural. The tree trunks are E43 Dull Ivory and E44 Clay. I used G82 Spring Dim Green and G24 Willow for the trees and the grass is a combination of G40 Dim Green, G21 Lime Green with E30 Bisque for some shading. For the path I used E30 Bisque and E53 Raw Silk. And the final coloring was B21 Baby Blue airbrushed in the sky. What does not show up on the scan is the addition of some purple Spica gel pen work on the plants by the fence and around the cabin. Just a little bit of glitz! I am very happy with how this scene came out. Kevin, of course, added fog and white dots which I sadly have not mastered. Being anal as I am, I tend to make the dots too uniform so I just leave them out, lol. I asked Kevin what he used in the foreground corners and he told me it is model train moss, he has been experimenting with 3D effects. When I was all done with my scene, I noticed the perspective between the tree trunk on the right and the fence is off. Kevin's moss tends to pull the tree trunk forward and push the fence down and away. My branches do not have that effect. So I took a Copic multiliner and extended the height of the fence but it is still too small. So just think large Redwoods at the end of the drive, lol.
