I made this card yesterday morning, a very quick little scene. I was thinking of Christmas and this is a layout I did a few years ago before I purchased my Copics.
I stamped the Cardinal from Rubber Stampede first and masked him off. The rest of the stamps are from Stampscapes. Next came the water, the Lakeside Cabin and finally the trees. Before airbrushing the sky, I added a one inch circle mask for the moon.
To color the very fine pine needles on the branch, I used my olive Copic Multiliner with the Brush Small nib. This was one of the pens I received from my Copic Certification class. The nib is a small version of the brush tip on the Sketch markers. It was perfect for this job.
B000 Pale Porcelain Blue and B00 Frost Blue were combined for the water. The cabin is E13 Light Suntan shaded with E15 Dark Suntan. I used Y38 Honey to give a warm glow to the windows. The rocks are E71 Champagne and I added YG63 Pea Green to the shrubs around the cabin and out on the finger of land. For the cardinal I used R29 Lipstick Red shaded with R39 Garnet. The branch is E44 Clay. For the sky, I airbrushed B34 Manganese Blue.
As a final touch, I added the word "Peace" from my Hero Arts set to the sky. This is an A2 size card, 4.25 x 5.5 inches.
