Tilda - Advanced Copic class

I taught my first two Advanced Copic classes today at Scrappin & Stampin in Livonia, Michigan. Did you know that they carry Tilda's? They have a nice variety in store and will be ordering the new Spring line soon. I just can't get enough of that chubby cheeked little girl. We focused on coloring faces and then completed the following three cards. I had a great time and hope my students did as well.

For this first card using the Tilda with Puppy image, stamped on Cryogen of course with Memento black ink, I used the following Copics:
Face - E000, E00, E02, R20
Hair - YR21, YR24
Jeans - Bg93, G20 Heart patch - R83
Puppy - E51, E53
Shoes - E33, E51

For this image, I did not blend colors on the pants, shoes and hair. Rather I left light areas. I had them begin with the darker color, leaving white areas, then follow with the light color, just for fill in the white area. I think it gives a great faded/scuffed up look.

The green dotted paper is from BoBunny, the patterned background is Basic Grey. I love how the Cuttlebug embossing folder mirrors the patterned paper.

This next card uses Tilda with Bowknot (I think that means hat) Anyway, I love this image, she is so much fun to color and she is just too cute. Love the sneakers. Copics used:
Face - E000, E00, E02, R20
Hair - E21, E25
Jeans - B00 Patches - R81, R83, V17
Top, Hat & Bow - R81, R85
Shoes - YG01, G21, V17
Hair - E21, E25

I airbrushed the flowers with B02 and R89 to match. And I used R85 on the ribbon to match as well. The leaves are an old Punch a Bunch punch and I used a Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder on the patterned oval die cut. The DP is from Basic Grey. I used a white glaze pen on her wings.

The last card used Tilda Sitting Summer and the Old Bench. And I got to use my new EK Success Flourish punches. See how the flourishes mirror the patterned paper, too cool! I used the following Copics:
Face - E000, E00, E02, R20
Hair and Bench - E33, E37
Top and Hair Bow - Y32, Y38
Jeans - B91 Patches - R85, BV00
Belt - E33
Sneakers - BG93, G20, B95

On this image as well as the one before, I left white areas on her jeans, giving the feel of well worn jeans. No blending, just don't add color in the white areas. I used a clear Gelly Roll on her wings and a white glaze pen for the ruffles on her shirt. The ribbon was colored Y32 to match the card. The green DP is from Cloud 9, not sure about the daisy paper.

On each card, a white glaze pen was used to add the highlight dots to her cheeks. Finished size on all three cards is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.

You must do this class at Stacey's and maybe she will get these stamps too. I have the winter and fall ones. I gotta have that doggie one.

I look for new cards daily and love these last 3 new one. Your choice of paper and colors made the cards so special. It would be nice if Stacy would let you do the class and handle the stamps. Work on that. LOL See you next Friday. Edna

Lovely cards Sandy!
Thanks so much for adding the recipes for your copics. It is very helpful for me since I am just starting out and not quite sure what to do with hair!
